Sarah Murphy

Sarah is from Orlando Florida. She trained under the direction of Marion Tonner and Phillip Carmen at the Orlando Ballet School. She graduated from United Ballet Theatre Academy under the direction of Zoica Tovar and Andres Estevez, performing feature roles such as Carabosse, Odalisques, and Jewels pas de trios. She then joined United Ballet Theatre as a trainee. In 2023 she moved to Connecticut to join NEBT and was promoted to apprentice the following year. Since joining the company, she has performed corps de ballet roles in La Sylphide, the Long Black Veil, The Little Mermaid, The Fantastic Toyshop, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She performed Demi soloist Flowers, and Nutmeg the Elf in the Fantastic Toyshop. She has also danced in pieces by choreographers such as Christopher Fleming, Saki Morimoto, and Felipe Puletini. As well as many pieces by Rachael Gnatowski. She is so excited to be returning to NEBT as an Apprentice this season!
