The School of New England Ballet Theatre’s Rising Voices is our annual student choreography showcase, celebrating the creativity, leadership, and artistic vision of our upper-level students. This special performance provides young choreographers the opportunity to develop original works in a professional setting from concept to stage.
This year’s featured piece, Foul Weather, is a short narrative ballet inspired by Bill Teel’s Fractured Fairytales and choreographed by Sydney D’Orso. Whimsical, witty, and full of unexpected twists, Foul Weather brings a playful storm of reimagined fairytale characters to life.
Learn more about Sydney D’Orso, and join us in supporting the voices that are shaping the future of dance.
