Tuition & Scholarships

Tuition Policies

  • All students who enroll for Introductory Program, Trainee Program and Pre-Professional Program classes are enrolling for the entire school year (August 28, 2023-June 9, 2024), and are obligated to pay the full year’s tuition fees, regardless of payment option (year in full, biannual, or monthly installments.)

  • 2023-24 tuition is non-refundable once classes begin. Refunds will not be given for any reason. This includes classes that are cancelled for any reason or mandatory closures due to state and/or local mandates.

  • The school year begins on August 28th and ends on June 9th. Holiday closures including winter and spring break dates are listed in the School Calendar and will be sent to families separately.

  • A $25 non-refundable annual registration fee per student is due with registration.

  • Tuition paid in full prior to September 1, 2023 will be given a 2% discount on tuition.

  • A $25 fee will be charged to active accounts more than 30 days past due. It is your responsibility to notify the office with any changes to your payment method.

  • Monthly installment payments will be automatically charged on the first day of each month.

  • Students are required to attend all scheduled classes for the Level in which they are registered. Partial attendance is not allowed.

  • Students may be eligible for pro-rated tuition if they must withdraw from classes due to prolonged illness or severe injury (verified by physician’s written orders). No full refunds will be given for an injury.

 

Financial Aid

At The School of New England Ballet Theatre we are committed to excellence, no matter where we find it.

DETAILS

  • The amount of financial aid available in a given year is dependent upon contributions by New England Ballet Theatre donors and careful consideration is given to all requests for assistance.

  • Financial Aid is not automatically renewed each school year and the awarded amount may vary from year to year. Students must reapply in order to be considered for continued or additional assistance.

  • Financial Aid is awarded for the school year.

  • All applications and financial information are kept confidential. NEBT does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, sex, or ethnic origin.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Pay the registration and first month’s tuition in full upon enrollment. Financial Aid will be applied to the remaining months.

  • Maintain a 95% or higher class attendance rate.

  • May not exceed their monthly payments on other NEBT services such as private lessons or open classes.

2023-2024 Financial Aid Application

Financial Aid forms must be completed and returned by the posted deadline for consideration.

Scholarships

To ensure ballet training is within reach of all students regardless of their financial circumstances The School of NEBT provides support for those who show talent, a passion for ballet, and a commitment to their art.

DETAILS

  • The School offers tuition scholarships to students who demonstrate artistic potential. 

  • Scholarships are not automatically renewed each school year and the awarded amount may vary from year to year. Students will be reevaluated by The School of NEBT for consideration of continued or additional scholarships. 

  • Merit Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of The School of NEBT and require no application.

  • Scholarships are awarded for the school year.

  • Scholarship funds are modest and highly competitive.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be enrolled in the assigned class level for the full academy year.

  • Participate in the Spring Performance.

  • Assist with various NEBT projects if asked.

  • Maintain a 95% or higher class attendance rate.
