at the Hartford Dance Collective
Viewing-In-Person and Virtual Viewer ticket options available
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our performance
Ballet Speaks: Against Domestic Violence.
Ballet Speaks is a ballet performance honoring domestic violence victims and survivors through the art of dance.
At NEBT we believe that it is important to tell the stories
that are kept quiet, the stories that have been forgotten or overlooked.
The performance will feature two contemporary ballet pieces danced by
NEBT Company Artists as well as a piece provided by Judy Dworin Performance Project.
In honor of International Women's Month, the NEBT Co-Director Emily Orzada
and Guest Choreographer Keerati Jinakunwiphat, who was named '25 to Watch'
for 2021 by Dance Magazine.
The evening will begin with our special guest speakers including, President & CEO of Interval House, Mary-Jane Foster, Senator Richard Blumenthal, former First Lady Cathy Malloy and Attorney General of Connecticut William Tong.
