The Pre-Professional Division

Designed for the most serious students, the Pre-Professional Division follows a comprehensive curriculum to ensure dancers are actively engaging in the most well rounded artistic studies.

Admission into the Pre-Professional Division is granted by audition only for students ages 9-18. Once admitted, students are required to attend every ballet, pointe and PBT class offered for their level. In addition to this foundation, dancers must choose to attend one extracurricular class in either contemporary or jazz. Dancers are encouraged to participate in both.

Beyond their technical classes, Pre-Professional Division students have the opportunity to perform alongside the professional company in mainstage productions throughout the season and have the opportunity to choreograph for The School's Choreographers' Showcase. All of these rehearsals are held on Saturdays during the season.
