Professional Program

Jacob-39.jpg
The Professional Program is designed as a one to two year commitment for the aspiring professional dancer. Focused on bridging the gap between student training and professional life, the curriculum integrates both The School and The Company's schedules to eliminate deficiencies found in traditional post-grad training. Dancers will take classes in ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, and contemporary.

Dancers will also shadow the professional company and receive personal mentorship, career guidance, performance and choreographic opportunities, and physical therapy affiliation and workshops.

Upon completion of the program dancers are prepared to launch their careers into the professional realm with confidence and a solid technical and artistic foundation.

THE SCHEDULE

Dancers participate in daily company technique class and rehearsals Monday-Friday from 10:00am-2:30pm. In addition, dancers must take a minimum of three School classes throughout the week.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Dancers have the opportunity to learn company repertoire throughout the season and may be used for roles in Company productions. Dancers will also have the opportunity to perform roles in School productions and outreach events.
