New England Ballet Theatre is excited to premier “The Carnival of the Animals," choreographed by Rachael Gnatowski.

Inspired by both the original Ballet Russe production and Christopher Wheeldon's interpretation of this work for New York City Ballet, NEBT's full-length version takes place in 1928 and follows two young girls, Adeline and Ruth, as they explore a zoo and gardens. With every animal from chickens to butterflies, and ending with a celebration of dancing flowers, this comedic ballet can be enjoyed by the entire family.
